Things I'm Learning Along the Way

At risk of being more narcissistic than usual (sad to be narcsissistic when I can't even spell the word) I am going to take a hint from Barbara and post about some of the things I've learned and continue to learn from doing outreach/mission trips/. I will probably do several posts to keep from getting too longwinded in one post - but be warned, I am not good at follow-through of any sort of series so it may drop off after a post or two.

Here are a few things I'll attempt to write about:

  1. Facing fears
  2. Getting over people-pleasing (to a degree)
  3. Giving

I may do more, or I may not.

I am looking forward to reading about this. The first one - facing fears - is a huge challenge for me. You are one of my heroes because I know you are like me in some ways and you DID something to overcome your fears, I am still taking very tiny steps.
