I'm Off For a While

Brian gave me a sweet gift just before Christmas. He worked extra hard at a book signing and gave me what he made that day to go away for a few days for a personal retreat. The gift means a lot for a few different reasons,

  1. I know how exhausted he is when he comes home from a book signing - it's a lot of hard work.

  2. Even though this book is through a publisher rahter than being self-published like his other two were, he stil had to sink some money into it and it is has still not broken even - so he could use the money himself. (yes, that's right, authors rarely make a ton of money unless they are very well known.)

  3. He knows how much I could use a break .... just some time to myself to do what I want, when I want.

He's a sweet guy in spite of his weird Taser pics obession. SO, anyway, I leave Monday and will not be back until late next week.

Have a wonderful time away, you deserve it. I kinda figured that Brian was a special guy even though he tries to hide it.

My dream is to have a husband that loves me, and that I love. You're blessed.

Which book is it? Is it beyond the Passion?

Thanks Barbara. I will have a wonderful time, I'm sure. I've been there before and it's a favorite get-away place for me. Yes, I am blessed to have Brian.

David - yes it's Beyond the Passion. The other two were self-published. This one is through Evergreen publishers but no publisher is going to take a risk on a no-name writer so there is still a big sum of money to put up before they will accept the project.

Hi Amber: Boy am I glad to hear that my little bro is treating my sis-in-law well(he's come a long way since the stuffed pantyhose snakes he used to gift me with). Have a great time of refreshment!! Love, Kath

I miss you!

Tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree. It's been three long days, do you still love me?

Lady...

You are so beautiful to me!

Have I told you lately that I love you?

If this is Houstin...I still love you.

Get the point? I miss you and look forward to seeing you tonight.
