Dear Amber I am from india, and like reading your blog. i really appreciate your heart for missions and caring for under privilleged people.Giving up your favourite beverages for 2 weeks is hard. But the money you will send for missions will bless many lives. i belong to a third world country, I tell you poverty and deprivation is very painful.God bless you my sacrificing sister in Christ.

Amrita, Thanks so much for your support and encouragment. Yes, giving up coffee (or soda) for 2 weeks is tough but not nearly as tough as the suffering others experience on a daily basis. I consider it a priveledge to be in a position to be able to do so. Thanks again. I will share your encouragement with all of the people in my church who are sacrificing for the sake of others.
