A Day of Fun For a Good Cause

Just a few pics. I'm working on a slideshow which is why I've not posted pics from Rezonate yet. (Tim, I need your pics) But in the meantime, here are some pics that our friends 8 Lives Spent took. They invited me and Brian up on stage with them to sing backup to Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World". Well, I wasn't going up there alone so we had the whole Pine Ridge crew up with us. Check Brian's blog for another pic and a post about Rezonate '08.

Joe playing the bass guitar that he designed and donated to Backpacks for Pine Ridge.

We raffled it off after he played it. I really wanted that guitar but the right person won it.

"Now what do you think you're going to do with that??"

Guess what, next year I am going to be there!!! I can't wait.

You and Brian look like naturals up on the stage (I guess Brian is used to it).

You ROCK my world!

That would be so awesome if you could come out! Actually, I think we looked like dorks but it was fun. It was also funny seeing Brian hang out with a rock band - he hates rock music but he loves these guys. Last night we went out on a "date" and we both wore our 8 Lives Spent t's. Never thought I'd see that either. :)

Brian hates rock music! Say it ain't so! Please don't tell me that he likes Dave Boyer or the Gaither Vocal Band or music of that ilk. Or is the Gaither Vocal Band too rock and roll for him. Amber, you tipped over my Brian pedestal.

Amber,

You guys look good up there, I'm the one that looked goofy.

Hey Gary,

I like Dave Boyer AND GVB but I also like to ROCK loud & hard. Years ago if you had told me I would be listening to Southern Gospel and the like I would have thought you were nuts but I like a pretty wide variety.

Do you have some favorites?

Tim
