Update on My Parents

For those of you who don't know, my mother fell while working in the yard a couple of days ago and broke her leg. She's been at Mercy Hospital since then and will be transported to the Drake Center sometime today. They are the best in the area for rehab so we're sure she'll get excellent care there and hopefully will be able to return home fairly soon.

Dad is still doing chemo. Logan has moved in with him at least until Mom comes home so that he's not there by himself. He's doing well - still washing his van and mowing the lawn but he does get tired easily and really shouldn't be driving. I'm proud of Logan - it was his idea to stay with his Pap.

Thanks for your prayers and offers to help drive my dad around. We may very well take you up on those offers. :)
